Let me be your personal guide to the world of wine!
I started my journey in the wine industry over 25 years ago. Funny enough it didn't start with wine at all, but with my first job as a dishwasher in a local diner. That job got me into the hospitality industry. From there I worked my way through the ranks and realized my dream job when I became the beverage director for The Farmhouse Restaurant. I then proceeded to build and curate many wine lists and continued to progress with my career culminating as the Sales Director for a family owned winery based in Monterey County, CA.
Everyone remembers the bottle that turned them into enophiles and mine was a bottle of Tir Na N'og Old Vine Grenache from Australia. From that point forward I was hooked. I tasted more and more wine and fell deeper into love. I enjoy tasting, talking and learning about wine. I always say wine is a school from which you will never graduate. It is the impossible dream and it can drive you nuts but you must never forget that it is just grape juice after all.
